Officials with the 49th Wing have announced the base has returned to Force Protection Condition Alpha and the exercise "Be On The Lookout" has been terminated.
Although the base has returned to FPCON Alpha, Team Holloman members are encouraged to remain vigilant, regardless of force protection conditions.
The FPCON system is directed by the Department of Defense to position military facilities against possible threats. These levels can be adjusted by commanders based on local conditions, specific threat information or guidance from higher headquarters.
